Fiber thickness gauge
When you measure the thickness of a fiber, you need an ultra-sensitive electrode to measure it.
But measurements using highly sensitive electrode has large error by temperature or humidity.
Because the measured capacitance value is affected by changes in temperature or moisture content.
When you only want to measure the thickness of the fiber,
you have to remove changes in the measurement due to temperature and moisture content.
We measure as follows.
Bridge form
We use two electrodes, a measuring electrode and a reference electrode.Changes in temperature or humidity are detected by both electrodes, so the measured values will only differ if the thickness is different.This is Bridge form.
If C absorbs moisture, Cr will also change, and if the temperature of C changes, Cr will also change, so you can capture changes to thickness only.
