Only the pressure filtration (filter press) was operated in batches. Recently, batch operation has also been seen in vacuum filtration (candle filters and leaf filters). Continuous operation has been possible too. This is now done if there is a large amount (Vacuum rotary drum filter, Vacuum horizontal belt filter).
Belt filter cloth is required to have longitudinal tensile strength, running stability, and wide fabric width. Devices with greater suction power have been developed, and there is now a need to capture fine particles that could previously only be captured by filter presses.
We offer belt filter cloth for a wide range of uses.
We created an ultra-fine weave for the front filtration surface, and a coarse weave for the back surface through which the filtrate passes through, with less resistance. We were able to achieve a good balance between the contradictory properties of collection and liquid permeability. Currently, it is often used for removing plaster, but it is also beginning to be used for general chemical purposes.
Liquid permeability and collection efficiency are always contradictory performances. The evaluation of the on-site engineer who operates the dehydrator is determined by how well they are able to select the one that best suits the conditions of use. We provide the optimal solution for such engineers.
The belt-type vertical filter press (Larox type) was created in Ukraine during the former Soviet Union in an attempt to make the filter press closer to continuous operation. This has been used for washing ore in mines. More recently, it has been used in beet sugar mud filtration and in the production of titanium oxide or cornstarch.
Due to its structure, it is not possible to process a large amount in one batch, but the filtration cycle, compression cycle, cake discharge, washing, and filtration preparation can all be completed in a short time to increase the batch volume. This can reduce the moisture content of organic slurry to below 30% with high filtration and squeezing pressure. But this will increase the burden on the filter cloth. We have a belt filter cloth with a high tensile strength that does not stretch even after long hours of operation.
